I had the pleasure of working with designer Landon Elmore on this illustrated design used for the branding materials for World of Bluegrass / International Bluegrass Music Association festival coming September 24-28, 2019 to downtown Raleigh, NC.
IBMA/WOB is one of the largest (if not the largest) urban street festivals around and brings the top players, performers, songwriters and makers in bluegrass and folk from around the world to North Carolina. Thank you for letting me a part of this year's festival in a small way and can’t to see what this year brings!
“International Bluegrass Music Association's (IBMA) World of Bluegrass, brought to you by Chiesi USA, and PNC presents Wide Open Bluegrass festival saw a combined attendance of 218,301 in their seventh year in Raleigh. This year’s festivities also generated $18.65 million in direct economic impact within Wake County, the highest single-year total yet according to figures released today by the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau (visitRaleigh)."
