I've felt pretty helpless this past year with no concerts. It wasn't easy for independent venues, promoters, and festivals (and all those working behind the scenes on the production side) before the pandemic and the past year has caused many to downsize and many others to close their doors permanently. 2021 is showing some brightness on the horizon and NIVA - National Independent Venue Association has been busy helping more than 3000 venues across the US. I've had the pleasure of playing on some of those stages and the independently owned venues are the backbone of the music industry and stomping grounds for a lot of the music we all consume.
